We thought that we had to tear up our sidewalk and replace our entire septic system. We thought that our overflowing septic tank was our fault for not pumping it more often. We called at least 8 septic companies and they ALL said that the clogged drain field was making water back up into our tank, causing it to overflow and that a new drain field was necessary. The cost of putting in a new sidewalk would have been more than the cost of Drainteks or a new septic system. We did not have money to lose so when I heard about your company and products through a friend, it made sense to move forward with you. We always thought that maintenance products and pumping our tank every two years was the way to maintain it but it wasn’t. We decided to try this because after finding out about your tremendous results, we were confident that it would be the right decision- safe and effective. We were tight on money and it turned out to be a blessing. This was the first time we had a septic system so we had no idea that the right products were necessary or that pump outs were not enough. Our odor problems had gotten worse, many of our drains were slow and the yard was stinking. We were embarrassed to go outside. More and more pump outs didn’t solve the problem. I knew that regular products would not do the trick because I tried every product out there and nothing worked. I found out later some were harmful. Everything Kim at Drainteks said to me made sense. Even though we had reservations, we are pleased that we decided to do what made sense.

We drink water from our own well, have clay soil and our home is about 20 years old. Our septic tank started overflowing about 5 years ago. The tank was still overflowing regardless of the more and more pump outs. By the fifth year of our septic tank overflowing, the ground was always wet and we thought for sure that we had to put in a new drain field. The help from you and your treatments were a miracle! We ordered your heaviest shock solutions because our system was obviously in failure. The Drainteks cleared the drains and odors inside were gone right away. It took about 3 to 5 weeks until we started to see the overflow significantly slow down. We were saving up our money in case your products would not fully restore our system and in case we needed to replace our drain field. We decided to pump our tank again and luckily we used our homeowners insurance to have a company suck the gunk out of our drain field and pump the septic tank. Jetting the lines was $1500, was not covered by insurance, would not be a promise and results would not last. The Drainteks miracle amazed us! Our septic company said that if the hardened sludge was not dissolved by the Drainteks products, the pump out of the drain field would not have worked and the rocks or pieces of the drain field would have messed up their equipment. By using Drainteks, the hardened sludge in the drain field was softened, digested and removed. Water started to flow into the drain field like a brand new system! We got permanent results! We went back to using our washer and taking showers like the first day we moved in. We’ve never had another overflow. Twelve months later, we were so used to having the tank pumped, we called the pumpers and they asked us why we had called them because the tank was that clean. They said that we were in great shape. We regret having it pumped because now we have to replace the good Drainteks bacteria that we pumped out that was keeping our system in great shape.

We thought our system failed because we needed to pump out our tank more often but it failed because we did not have the proper knowledge. We had no idea the secret is the proper product! Lesson learned. In balancing the cost of the product and having a septic system in perfect condition, the decision to go forward with Drainteks has been a no brainer and a win-win. It works as stated and we are never turning back to having septic problems.

Having lived with septic systems all of our lives, when our new cesspool septic tank suddenly started overflowing after only ten years, we were skeptical about a company online and their ability to help. Our overflow made no sense to us since we had our cesspool pumped regularly and used additives every other month to maintain it. We never imagined our cesspool could all of a sudden stop functioning! I called you at Drainteks and spoke to a guy named Troy. He was extremely helpful, asked some questions while explaining the solution in detail. We realized that we were using the wrong septic products and the acid treatments we allowed the pumpers to use all these years was NOT a good idea. We decided we needed to shock the cesspool to see if there was still “life” left in it. Luckily for us, Drainteks did it. We used the powder and liquids combination.
